Have you ever wondered why the plans you make never turn out the way you wanted?

Creating the plans may have had everyone engaged and excited, but if you haven’t considered the barriers to success then it’s likely you’ll be left wondering what went wrong at some point in the future. If you’re using your Away Day to agree your vision and goals, it's wise to include an exercise to identify your barriers to success and the strategies to overcome them

A Leadership in Practice Away Day helps you identify these barriers and takes you through understanding whether they are real 'factual barriers’, or 'beliefs' based on your own perceptions and assumptions.

🚧 Factual barriers are things like not having space, funding or resources. For these we help you create strategies built on 'what, how, who and when'.

💭 Beliefs are our perception of things like what patients do and don't like, how much time we have to implement change, or the willingness to work together. Overcoming these is about creating a new positive and helpful belief, agreeing how we will act differently as a result, and holding ourselves and each other to account to ensure we adopt these.

Talking about barriers could be a difficult, uncomfortable conversation but with our interactive exercises and our facilitation, we make sure your Away Day is as enjoyable as it is productive.
